O Whitesnake irá lançar uma edição comemorativa de 30 anos do álbum Slip Of The Tongue. Originalmente lançado em novembro de 1989, o disco alcançou o número 10 nas paradas do Reino Unido e dos EUA.
Slip Of The Tongue 30th Anniversary Edition será lançado no dia 04 de outubro pela Rhino Records em um box contendo 6 CDs/DVD com uma nova versão remasterizada do álbum. Além disso, o material contará com gravações de estúdio inéditas, versões alternativas de todas as faixas, áudio e vídeo da performance da banda no festival Monsters Of Rock de 1990, livro de fotos e uma nova entrevista com o vocalista David Coverdale.
Aliás, o que não falta são versões diferentes para o lançamento de Slip Of The Tongue 30th Anniversary Edition como: 2CD Deluxe Edition, que conta com o áudio original remasterizado e faixas bônus inéditas. E seguindo o mesmo caminho, o 2LP Deluxe Edition que possui o áudio remasterizado e músicas bônus exclusivas para esta versão.
O áudio do CD simples também é remasterizado e vem com B-Sides. E para não ficar de fora do mundo tecnológico, o álbum estará disponível em versão digital.
Vale lembrar que na época do platinado álbum, o Whitesnake tinha uma formação estelar com o chefe Coverdale (vocal), Rudy Sarzo (baixo), Tommy Aldridge (bateria), Adrian Vandenberg (guitarra) e Steve Vai (guitarra).
