Em recente entrevista ao podcast All Exce$$, o eterno metal, Rob Halford, foi enfático e direto ao falar sobre os futuros planos da nova turnê do Judas Priest, intitulada 50 Heavy Metal Years.
Além disso, no bate-papo, Halford aconselhou os fãs a darem devida atenção à ciência, já que ela será, segundo Rob, a responsável pela resolução da pandemia do novo Coronavírus.
“Todas as pessoas do planeta, de uma forma ou de outra, foram afetadas, com isso, todos nós tivemos que fazer necessárias mudanças em relação à nossa segurança”, comentou o vocalista.
“Considerando a gravidade dessa pandemia, a forma como os cientistas trabalharam tão efetivamente e tão brilhantemente para obter uma vacina de forma rápida, é notável”, pontuou.
“É muito admirável a forma como a tecnologia avançou. Então, ouçam os cientistas, não os políticos, assim, nós todos superaremos esse problema”, completou o músico.

E por falar em Rob Halford, o Judas Priest está prestes a lançar um enorme box de edição limitada que incluirá todos os álbuns oficiais ao vivo e de estúdio lançados até o momento, e mais 13 discos inéditos.
Restaurado e mixado por Tom Allom, no La Cucina W8, e masterizado por Alex Wharton, no Abbey Road Studios, este box especial, intitulado 50 Heavy Metal Years Of Music, será lançado no dia 15 de outubro pela Sony Music.
50 Heavy Metal Years Of Music incluirá, além dos 42 CDs, fotos de Ross Halfin autografadas por cada membro da banda, lâmina de barbear em aço britânico numerada (sem corte), livro de memorabilia com fotos raras, pôsteres, anúncios e ingressos, réplicas dos pôsteres das turnês British Steel 1980 (Alemanha) e Defenders Of The Faith 1984 (Europa) e muito mais.
Rob Halford comentou: “O box set com curadoria do Judas Priest representando 50 anos do heavy metal é o tesouro definitivo que define o compromisso inabalável da banda em manter e defender a fé do heavy metal.”
