O guitarrista John Petrucci, que é conhecido por seu trabalho na banda de prog metal Dream Theater, vai cair na estrada para divulgar seu álbum solo, Terminal Velocity (2020). A novidade da turnê também fica por conta da presença do ex-baterista do Dream Theater, Mike Portnoy, que há 12 anos não sobe no palco com Petrucci. A formação do grupo é completada com o baixista Dave LaRue.
“Estive (re)aprendendo todas as músicas da turnê do JP. Vai ser uma grande festa! Pode contar com muitas notas e muita música instrumental”, comentou Portnoy. Já Petrucci falou o seguinte: “Estou emocionado em revelar as datas da minha turnê solo para o final deste ano. Serão noites inacreditáveis com minha banda incrível que conta com Mike Portnoy e Dave LaRue, bem como nossos convidados especiais, Meanstreak. Vejo vocês lá”.
