O Green Day anunciou que lançará um box para comemorar os 20 anos do álbum American Idiot no dia 25 de outubro.
American Idiot 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition será disponibilizado nos formatos 8LPs e 4CDs e incluirá 15 gravações demo inéditas, uma apresentação ao vivo de 2004 no Irving Plaza em Nova York (incluindo nove gravações ao vivo inéditas) e uma variedade de b-sides e faixas bônus.
