David Gilmour está pronto para iniciar, no final desta semana, sua turnê solo por Londres, Roma, Los Angeles e Nova York em divulgação do seu novo álbum, Luck and Strange. Como uma prévia, o músico fez dois shows de ensaio geral no Brighton Centre em Brighton, Inglaterra, nos dias 20 e 21 de setembro.
Durante o primeiro show, Gilmour estreou várias músicas do novo disco, incluindo The Piper’s Call, Between Two Points e Dark and Velvet Nights. Porém, mais da metade do repertório foi composto por clássicos do Pink Floyd, incluindo músicas que o guitarrista não tocava desde meados dos anos 2000.
Além de tocar Breathe (In the Air), do álbum The Dark Side of the Moon, pela primeira vez desde 2006, Gilmour tirou o pó de faixas do The Division Bell, como Marooned e A Great Day for Freedom, pela primeira vez desde 2004 e 2006, respectivamente. Outros clássicos do Pink Floyd incluem Wish You Were Here e Comfortably Numb.
