The Brotherhood of the Snake, décimo segundo disco de estúdio do Testament, sairá no dia 28 de outubro pela Nuclear Blast/Shinigami Records.

As gravações do disco tiveram os trabalhos do produtor Juan Urteaga (Exodus, Heathen, Machine Head), do guitarrista Eric Peterson e do vocalista Chuck Billy. Na sequência, a mixagem e masterização ficaram a cargo de Andy Sneap (Accept, Arch Enemy, Cradle of Filth, Kreator, Megadeth).
Mais uma vez, a arte da capa foi criada por Eliran Kantor. O artista israelense também fez a ilustração do último disco da banda, Dark Roots of Earth (2012), além de já ter trabalhado para outros grupos, como Hatebreed, Soulfly e Kataklysm.
